Essential: This person must have:-

NVQ Level 3 or above.

Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its implementation.

Ability to inspire, motivate, communicate with and lead a team of staff, resolving issues in close consultation with the Supervisor and Management.

Be able to recognise the overall needs of the Nursery stepping in to Supervise as necessary.

Good communication skills and ability to deal with parents.

Excellent time management and organisation skills.

You must be, without doubt, dedicated to children, enthusiastic and thorough in your approach. You must enjoy working with under-fives and have lots of energy and patience.

Desirable:

Full time, although part time or job share would be considered.

Supervisory experience.
